Thursday September 12th      DAY 1

7pm –9 pm      Horse Teaching and Toy Craft Workshop **WORKSHOP NOW FULL**

Guided "horse blanket TOY craft" workshop, you will create your own        version of the Michif horse blanket in a toy size and teachings.  Taught by well know artisan Leah Dorian.

$10/participant includes all supplies. 10 spaces available.

Friday September 13th      DAY 2

7pm – 8:45pm            Creeland Dancers

This competitive dance troupe performs square dance/jigging and engages audience members in a participatory dance!

 7pm –10pm    Dallas and Phil Boyer Enjoy fiddle music for the Creeland Dancers 

 Saturday September 14TH      DAY 3 Doors open @ 12pm

1 pm–3pm       Traditional Bannock Making Learn how to cook bannock on a stick over an open fire

noon– 6pm       Donny Parenteau Master of Ceremonies, Donny Parenteau M/Cs the Métis Kitchen Party with Performances by Local Musicians in the dining hall including:   noon - Fiddlers and Friends,   1pm - Tom Gerard,   1:15pm - little jigging men with Fiddlers and Friends,  2:00pm - Riverside Dancers,   5:00pm - Qu'appelle Valley Dancers performance 

1pm –5pm       Children’s Arts and Craft Corner Youth lead michif crafts and games 

4pm –5pm      Métis Traditional Dance Workshop Learn traditional Métis jigging

6pm –8pm       Shayne Lazorwich and Friends. Performance in the Dining Hall

9pm –12am     Oscar’s Hollow  Wind up to the Kitchen Party in the Dining Hall

Lunch and Supper Available Friday September 13th 6pm – 8pm and Saturday Sep 14th noon-8pm. Métis bannock burgers, soup & bannock, chips, pop, water, coffee for sale

St. Louis Historical Society Display  Explore the pictorial research of the history of St Louis, Saskatchewan. This exhibit provided by St. Louis Historical Society.

Antique & Vendor Market Antique and other vendors open all day Saturday. Antique vendors, homemade goods and specialty items for sale.

Silent Auction

12pm– 9pm  Several items available via silent auction. Items are removed at random throughout the day with the final items closing @ 9pm on Saturday!  All proceeds from the auction go to the River Road Festival.

     

Volunteers and Youth Staff

This festival is operated primarily by volunteers.  Watch for volunteers and youth staff with their blue Métis lanyards.
